#059 – ’21 week 02
Here is a song I’ve never been able to listen to entirely because it a 45+ minutes long ambient song and each time I tried, my mind goes away on other thoughts, many times!
This long meditative track wasn’t randomly generated using a computer software according to this interview, as some thought.
It’s not the first ambient-like song or containing various ambiances Jean-Michel Jarre ever wrote, like Oxygen part 1 or part 3, First or Last Rendez-vous, Equinoxe part 2 or Ethnicolor to name a few.
Some ambient songs play more with random sounds, textures, noises and sound effects, this one creates a landscape that could remind the listener of submarine recording and/or soundtrack for documentaries around that, as J.Y. Cousteau did.
Something very peaceful in my opinion.
